Moorage – Flattie

1. Condition and Usage:
I commit to maintaining my sailboat in a seaworthy, clean, and safe condition throughout the year. When not in use, the boat will be securely covered. It will be used by me or other LBC members at least five times between June 1st and September 30th.
Other authorized users must be LBC members in good standing (Names listed below). I have inspected the moorage facilities and docks and accept them in their current condition. I understand that the LBC has no responsibility to maintain or improve the facilities and release LBC from any and all liabilities, losses and claims relating in any way to the facilities.

2. Winterization:
My sailboat will be covered, secured on the float, and have a self-draining cockpit during the winter months.

3. Work Party Participation:
I will contribute to at least one of the two work parties each season to assist with float repairs and access, as requested by the Fleet Captain, Director of Sailing or in a manner agreed upon by LBC. If i fail to attend one of the two work parties, I agree to be liable for $100 fee to compensate labor required to accomplish the work.

4. Facility Security:
I will maintain security when using LBC facilities during off-hours by keeping gates locked, spinning the lock combination, and not disclosing it to non-moorage members.

5. Insurance/Indemnity:
I represent that I carry liability insurance equal to or greater than the highest coverage on my personal policies, and provide proof of insurance upon request. I agree to indemnify LBC from any and all liabilities, losses, and/or claims relating to my boat, including but not limited to third party claims.

6. Agreement Term and Renewal:
This agreement expires on December 31st of the year indicated above. I acknowledge that there is no vested right to renew this
agreement or retain my boat on the LBC float beyond this term. If not renewed at LBC’s discretion, I will remove my boat at my
expense within 60 days of notice. Failure to do so allows LBC to remove my boat at my risk and expense.

7. Termination and Compliance:
LBC may terminate this agreement if I fail to meet its requirements, and I will promptly remove my boat. Non-compliant boats will be
warned and, if necessary, removed.

8. Notice:
Notices under this agreement will be effective when mailed or emailed to the provided addresses. I accept full responsibility for my boat and its use, agreeing to indemnify, defend, and hold LBC harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses related to my boat’s storage.

9. Effective Date:
This agreement becomes effective upon LBC’s acceptance of the required moorage fee.

Condition and Usage:

1. I commit to maintaining my SUP/Kayak in a seaworthy, clean, and safe condition throughout the year. It will be used by me or other LBC members at least five times between June 1st and September 30th. Other authorized users must be LBC members in good standing. SUPs will be given storage options in the SUP racks. Kayaks will be stored along the fence adjacent to the bocce ball pit, or on the bottom space along the wooden dock racks if available.

2. Moorage Sticker:
My SUP/Kayak will have its annual moorage sticker affixed in a visible location while it is in its rack. I agree to label my SUP or kayak with my last name and contact information.

3. Winterization:
My SUP/Kayak will be securely secured in its rack/location, along with any accessories.

4. Facility Security: I will maintain security when using LBC facilities during off-hours by keeping gates locked, spinning the lock combination, and not disclosing it to non-moorage members. I acknowledge that my access to the property when LBC is not open is solely for the purposes of using my SUP/Kayak.

5. Insurance: I represent that I carry liability insurance equal to or greater than the highest coverage on my personal policies, including a waiver of subrogation against LBC.

6. Agreement Term and Renewal: This agreement expires on December 31st of the year indicated above. I acknowledge that there is no vested right to renew this agreement or retain my boat on the LBC float beyond this term. If not renewed at LBC’s discretion, I will remove my SUP/Kayak at my expense within 60 days of notice. Failure to do so allows LBC to remove my SUP/Kayak at my risk and expense.
